Guests from Sri Lanka visited AMG Skilled Hands Technological College last July 12-16, 2015.
The 5-day visit was aimed at getting firsthand knowledge and the best practices of ASHTEC in Transformative education, Character Development and sustainability of the school. The guests witnessed actual hands-on training and toured ASHTEC facilities. They also had interactions with ASHTEC staff and personnel.
They were able to understand the role of the various departments of the school and its on-going projects and activities. Among the topics discussed were raising of funds and donors to support the existing students. Character development and Job placement were also among the subjects discussed. They also had the opportunity to have fellowship with the students.
