AMG Skilled Hands Technological College (ASHTEC) is a Christian Institution with an innovative teaching-learning environment that caters to different learners. The school’s mission dwells on equipping the learners in a holistic manner with Christ-centered programs so that they will be God-fearing, self- sustaining and will exhibit distinctiveness to others.

The talents of the students are introduced not only to its local partners but to its associates overseas as well. The preparation of the training engages the collaboration of competent teaching staff with well-run equipments.  Students are geared up once they are initiated in the workplace.

Mr. Pascual is the founding president and CEO of AMG Skilled Hands Technological College (ASHTEC). Prior to his present position, he was Officer-In-Charge of the Transitional Management Team of AMG Philippines. He was also the Church Planting Coordinator for AMG Inc where he was immersed in the work among the rural and urban poor communities. It was in this capacity that his passion for transforming and empowering the poor was born.

This became the foundation in starting ASHTEC in reaching the poor youth with the Gospel of Jesus and developing their capacity to become self-reliant and transformed for a lifetime. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Development Communication at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and currently working on his Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship major in Social Entrepreneurship Development at the Ateneo Graduate School. He previously worked in the media industry in various capacity such as: news writer, producer, announcer, sound studio operator. He was also involved as a multi-media production staff and scriptwriter. He and his wife Remy has three (3) children, namely: Abiel Jordan, Kayla Rahel and Kadisha Anet.

Department Heads

Ms. Sherryl R. Quitalig, Ph.D.
Ms. Sherryl R. Quitalig, Ph.D.Senior High School Principal
During the period of 2004 to 2015, Ms. Quitalig served as Character Development Staff and part time Philosophy Teacher for the Technical Vocational Students of ASHTEC. In 2012, she earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Management and received her Doctoral Degree in Philosophy major in Development Education in 2015. Currently, as Senior High School Principal, she is in charge in planning, organizing, directing the overall program of Senior School with 300 students and 16 faculty members (regular and part time).

Scope of the position includes development, evaluation, management of the educational program consistent with public and private school guidelines. She also assists in the preparation of the school’s budget and monitoring of expenditures specifically for Senior High School.
Ms. Maureen D. Serrano

Ms. Serrano is responsible for personnel administration, managing office operations, develops policies such as operation’s manual/staff manual, procedures and systems which ensure productive and efficient college operation. She is also responsible for communicating with the Board of Trustees and supervise the maintenance of ASHTEC facilities and equipment.
Mr. Mark Arren Alberto

Mr. Alberto is an Alumnus of ASHTEC. He started working in this school as a Teacher Assistant in 2011 and became a shcool Programmer after a year. He was also assigned as Technical Support in the year 2013 until 2015 and from 2015 up to 2018 he worked as an IT Instructor. Currently, he is now promoted as the TVET supervisor. He is responsible for the overall management and direction of the TVET Department. He is also responsible for the scheduling of classes, monitoring of curriculum, coordination with other department including all TESDA transactions.
Mr. Ricardo P. Padilla II

Mr. Padilla started with JBS in 2004 as Liaison Officer and now working as a link between the academe and the industry through OJT Placement of TVET trainees and Work Immersion Teacher and Focal Person at the same time for Senior High School Grade 12. Other functions include coordinator for Partnership training with EEI Corporation and overseer of the Assessment Center.
