They are 5 in the family and he is the youngest. Back then, they were poor living as informal settlers. Living in a difficult environment was not easy. He was influenced badly by his peers and the environment where he was growing up. Until one day, a pastor came to their house and asked him if he wants to study in ASHTEC for 2 years, but he has to stay in the boys’ dormitory in the course of his study. Since this is a good opportunity, he readily accepted it. His sponsor, Pastor Marlo Alba, was a classmate of Ms. Marjorie Cacho, one of the ASHTEC staff.

He is very thankful to ASHTEC because it helped develop his skills in welding. Much more, this is where he became mature in his spiritual life. After studying in ASHTEC, he took his OJT at EEI Corporation. He became a contractual employee of the company after his OJT. Presently, he is working as a TIG Welder at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. With the income he receives monthly, he is able to support his family and his church financially.

In his life, he experienced many mistakes, struggles and challenges. But these did not hinder him in attaining his goals and dreams.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28”
